Do any of you have brothers and sisters? Do any of you remember when your parents told you to go to bed but what you really decided to do was stay up talking half the night?
Well thats what we use to do. stay up , and when we got bored we told ghost and frightening stories . The only problem was that once your scared it's not that easy to turn off , you stay cautious the rest of the night.
It gets to the point were the slightest noise will scare you , a foot step , a leaking faucet , then you believe you start to hear things because your imagination takes over.
but this night wasn't our imaginations.......
We went to bed as usual , turn the lights off and pretended to go to sleep , are parents were tired that night so they actually went to be about half an hour after we did.
And as usual we talked about creepy frightening things that go bump in the night , as we kept talking we felt as if we kept getting interrupted by somone......or something outside.
My step sis just said it was just the wind blowing the tree's and the branches just scarped against the windows outside , and it was a windy night as a matter of fact.
So i believed her and i continued telling a frightening tail. However , seconds before i even begun to continue my story the noise was heard again , even louder this time......whatever it was it was outside , it didn't sound like a tree hitting the window....
IT SOUNDED LIKE A KNOCK ON THE WINDOW!!! knocking repeatedly!!! after telling scary stories to each other we were all scared stiff , non of us really wanted to check the window to see what it was.
Then something grabbed against the window and i could swear the glass cracked!!! None of us said a word......we were the quietest Ive ever seen us....it must of been about 20 minutes before any of us said anything , then finally we heard foot steps from outside walks past the house.
We finally felt comfortable enough to start talking again , but we never slept that night however. In the morning when we all explained to the parents they were shocked and then angered for us not telling them immediately. ( its not that easy for them to hear things , we have a bedroom on the 1st floor , there bedroom is upstairs ) .
they called the police and a short while later police officers showed up and asked for all off our stories. They reported everything down and investigated . They said that it was a good thing we stayed in our rooms.....because the weapon of choice this guy used was a knife , there was a stab mark about 2 inches deep by the side of the window .
The officer said the man was probably knocking outside to get us to look out the window , then take one of us.......
then he said something ill never forget....
he said whatever you do , whenever its dark and you hear something knock outside......DON'T LOOK OUT THE WINDOW!!
stranger occurrences happened along the way but those are stories told for another time.......
